The State Housing Company Limited (SHC Ltd) has officially launched a nationwide revenue mobilization campaign aimed at encouraging its debtors to settle outstanding fees by offering a 15% discount incentive on all arrears if paid in full within the stipulated period.
Speaking at a press conference monitored by newseyegh.com, the Managing Director of SHC, Mr. John S. Bawah, explained that the campaign is a major initiative designed to recover outstanding client obligations, strengthen the company’s financial base, and re-emphasize to Ghanaians the importance of staying current with their financial obligations and documentation with the company.
Mr. Bawah outlined that the discount applies to payments for various categories including ground rent, land regularization, consents to develop (assign, mortgage, and gift), service charges, and arrears. The offer, he said, is valid for two months, from November 3 to December 31, 2025. He urged clients with significant outstanding balances—some amounting to hundreds of millions of cedis—to take full advantage of the initiative to avoid potential legal action or future eviction.
“This campaign is not just about revenue; it is about ensuring that our clients are compliant with their obligations and are aware of the benefits of regularizing their accounts. We want every client to benefit from this incentive,” Mr. Bawah stated.
In alignment with H.E. President John Dramani Mahama’s vision of a Ghana that works round-the-clock, Mr. Bawah further disclosed that SHC will launch a 24-hour Premium and Express Service Center before the end of the year. This new service center will provide fast, reliable, and customer-friendly support for all payments, documentation, and client needs.
The Head of Legal at SHC, Lawyer Rita Appeaa Fofie, who highlighted that the company will pursue necessary legal actions against clients who refuse to settle their debts within the campaign period. She stressed that while the discount is a generous incentive, SHC will ensure compliance to protect its financial sustainability and uphold contractual obligations.
