Campaign: Go To Kpandai And Stop The Noise- Dafeamekpor To Minority

The Majority Chief Whip, Hon. Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor, has called on the Minority in Parliament to “hit the ground running” by moving their campaign efforts to the Kpandai Constituency instead of continually criticizing the court ruling that declared the seat vacant.

Speaking in response to persistent objections raised by the Minority, Hon. Dafeamekpor emphasized that the judgment delivered by the Tamale High Court—regarding the NDC’s election petition challenging the 2024 parliamentary results—should not be a basis for attacks on the judiciary. He stressed that the ruling is now a matter of law, and the Minority should redirect their energy toward engaging constituents and advancing the interests of their supporters.

He further cautioned the Minority Leader, Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, against publicly disparaging the judge who presided over the case, urging him to respect the judicial process even if the outcome is unfavorable to his side.
