Former Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is set to embark on a three-day campaign tour of the Western North Region beginning Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
The tour forms part of Dr. Bawumia’s nationwide engagement with party delegates ahead of the NPP presidential primaries scheduled for January 30, 2026. During his visit, he is expected to meet with regional and constituency executives as well as grassroots delegates across all nine constituencies of the region.
According to the NPP’s Western North Regional Communications Officer, Addo Yaw Harry, the tour is aimed at strengthening Dr. Bawumia’s relationship with party members and offering him a platform to share his vision for the continued transformation of both the party and the nation.
Dr. Bawumia’s itinerary includes visits to key constituencies such as Sefwi-Akontombra, Aowin, and Juaboso, where he will interact directly with delegates and outline his plans to lead the NPP into the 2026 general elections.
The Western North tour follows a series of similar engagements across the country as Dr. Bawumia intensifies his campaign to secure the party’s presidential nomination.
